Graslei on a Friday Afternoon

Some things should be recorded and shared simply because they ought to be. I can never reclaim my first sights of Europe as a fresh experience, but at least I can share this wonderful moment where I was trying to take in every detail.

I was sitting on Graslei in Gent with my friend Pieter and we were drawing the view of the gabled buildings across the water. In the background a teenage boy impresses his friends with accordion playing. Pieter gets a birthday call midway through this recording.
